The Year 2 Market

This week Year 2 have been learning about money in a real life context by setting up their own market stalls. In D&T, the children made products out of recycled materials to sell at their stalls. They also made their own purses and currency. In numeracy, the children learnt how to give change, decimal notations, and how to make amounts using different coins. In literacy, the children made persuasive posters to advertise their products and stalls.
