Making 3D shapes with Polydron and Plasticine!

Year 2 Pink put on their shape hats to investigate the number of faces, edges and vertices of 3D shapes. Using polydrons and plasticine, the children made  their own cubes, cuboids and square-based pyramids, and did such an amazing job that they earnt themselves an audio treat to accompany their construction work, in the form of "Mamma Mia" by ABBA. Great work, Perfect Pink!

JUST PRESS PLAY!

Pink class were lucky enough to trial the 'JUST PRESS PLAY' workshop, where they wore headphones and took part in an immersive theatre experience all about The Great Fire of London! A superb interactive learning experience!

Have you seen Pink and Red crayon?

Pink and Red crayon have escaped! And they have left a shocking note for Ms Bailey explaining that they have escaped to nursery, and are never returning to Pink class again!

Inspired by the award-winning Drew Daywalt book "The Day The Crayons Quit", Pink class wrote their own story, "The Day the Crayons Escaped".

Time to show some super homework...

Some of Year 2 Pink showing off their incredible clocks. Fantastic to see how differently each child approached the task - clearly not a minute of homework time was wasted!

Freeze Frame!

Amazing acting in "A Squash and a Squeeze" freeze frame. It's a shame this year's Oscar nominees have already been announced...!
